Jill Olonoff
Controller
A Certified Public Accountant, Jill has many years of financial experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. After graduating from the University of Buffalo with a B.S. degree in Accounting, she began her career at Marsh & McLennan Companies (Marsh Re), working in many financial capacities including Director of Tax and Internal Audit. She spearheaded the Sarbanes Oxley implementation process at MMC and was promoted to Global Corporate Controller in 2005. Upon leaving Marsh & McLennan, she became the Director of Finance at SEIU Local 32 BJ, the service employee union, in charge of financial reporting, accounting, and Treasury. Jill left the union twelve years ago to join us here at EA, where she has worked closely with Mark on successfully rolling out new budget software and templates, automating AP processes, restructuring the functions of the finance department, all while overseeing clean EA audits every year.
Over her many years at EA, Jill has demonstrated proven success in managing complex business issues, driving process improvements, cost-saving measures, and restructuring initiatives. Simultaneously, Jill served on the Board of Eleanor’s Legacy as corporate Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee.
When not working at the Educational Alliance, Jill enjoys travelling, boating, biking, and reading, but most importantly, spending quality time with her husband and two grown children.
